The variety is a representative of the Kabakulak group and is intended for the production of high-quality oriental tobacco raw materials. Due to its neutral character, it is used as a base component in blends for cigarette production.

Han Tervel 39 is characterized by stability and a balanced chemical composition of the raw material. In scientific research, the variety acts as a benchmark against which the yield indicators and smoking properties of other tobacco varieties and lines are evaluated.
