Variety description

The variety was created by intervarietal hybridization based on the Bulgarian Harmanli and Krumovgrad types. The plant forms 38–40 leaves with good leaf blade width. Leaf dimensions vary from 18–20 cm in length in the lower tier to 21–23 cm in the middle and 12–14 cm in the upper.

The average crop yield is 2200–2400 kg/ha. The variety is resistant to lodging, premature flowering, overripening, leaf burn, as well as downy mildew and powdery mildew. The chemical composition is characterized by a nicotine content of 1.5–1.8%, carbohydrates of 13–15%, and protein nitrogen of 6–8%.

During drying, the raw material acquires a uniform golden or orange color and possesses an elastic and dense texture. Smoking properties conform to the standards of oriental tobacco of the Harmanli and Krumovgrad types.
