The variety belongs to the Kaba-Koulak varietal group and is an important component for the production of oriental tobacco in Northern Bulgaria. The plant possesses neutral characteristics, which allows it to be used as a filler for various cigarette brands.

Compared to the standard, the variety forms taller stems and provides increased yield with high quality of raw material. In biochemical studies, antioxidant activity was recorded in the extracts of the variety, determined by CUPRAC and H2O2 methods.

The variety is used in breeding programs as a parental form for the creation of new tobacco genotypes. Work is underway to improve technological properties, including leaf size and drying parameters.
