The variety belongs to the oriental tobacco type. It is frequently used as source material for developing new lines and also serves as a control sample in comparative trials of varieties of its ecotype.
The plant possesses high resistance to downy mildew and black shank, demonstrating in studies from 75% to 100% preservation of healthy specimens when exposed to the pathogens. Product quality was studied through indicators of nicotine content, soluble carbohydrates, total nitrogen, phenolic acids, and flavonoids.
