The variety belongs to the sweet basil group. The plant is characterized by a uniform habit and cup-shaped green leaves. The variety is fast-growing and capable of forming a larger number of leaves on the stem compared to most other types.
The plant possesses increased cold tolerance. The heavy and large leaves of the variety are suitable for fresh consumption and pesto preparation, with linalool as the main component of the essential oil.
