The I-46 variety has a spreading crown shape and high yield. Its fruits are distinguished by an increased oil content, which makes the variety suitable for use in oil production.

This variety was obtained during breeding work on sample selection, including the use of the controlled cross-pollination method, for adaptation to modern cultivation methods.
