The variety has an open crown shape with short internodes and high branching density, which facilitates tree training in a hedgerow system. The plant is characterized by low to medium vigor.
The fruits have average weight, black color at maturity, and a weakly expressed or absent nipple. The stone is of average weight. The variety enters bearing early, demonstrates a high fat content in the fruits, and good oil extractability.
The variety exhibits resistance to peacock spot (Fusicladium oleagineum) and is also tolerant to verticillium wilt and olive knot.
