The cultivar is a breeding form intended for olive oil production. Distinctive features of the plant are increased resistance to pests, various diseases, and low temperatures.
Fruiting of the cultivar begins at the age of 6–8 years. In the climate of Tuscany, fruit ripening occurs in the period from late October to mid-November.
