The variety belongs to the round-grain rice group, known as Originario. The grain has a length of 5 mm, a width of 3 mm, and a length-to-width ratio of 1.7. The pericarp color is white, and the grain is transparent (crystalline).

The variety is characterized by low amylose content and is non-glutinous. The cooking time is about 15 minutes, with no aroma. The breeding is based on the genetic material of the Selenio variety.
