The Fruzsina M variety is a product of Hungarian breeding and is intended for the production of food rice. It is included in the list of varieties permitted for use in the production of products under the protected geographical indication "Nagykun rizs".

The grain of the variety is classified as medium-grain with a length-to-width ratio of about 2.2. The length of the growing season when sown in soil is 130–134 days, and the thousand kernel weight in the husk is 32–33 g.
