The variety has a columnar habit with high panicle density. The flag leaf is short, dark green, and the plant is characterized by a high capacity for stay-green.

The plant possesses full resistance to rice blast and spot blotch, as well as high tolerance to drought. Due to the crystalline structure of the grain, the variety is in demand in professional culinary arts, in particular, for the preparation of sushi.
