The plant reaches a height of 60–65 cm, which provides it with high lodging resistance, important for windy regions. Disease resistance is assessed as good.

The grain has a medium size (about 5.50 mm in length and 3.30 mm in width) and a pearly hue. The variety belongs to the "Senia"/"Bahía" type and is distinguished by its ability to absorb flavors well while maintaining succulence and a creamy texture after cooking for 15–18 minutes.
