The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a growing season of 130 to 145 days. The plants are medium-height, reaching about 90 cm, and possess good lodging resistance.
The grain is of the 'long-grain A' type with a crystalline structure suitable for parboiled rice production. The 1000 kernel weight is about 31.5 g for rough rice and 23.0 g for milled grain; the amylose content is low.
