The rice variety M 60 is officially recognized in Hungary. It is regularly included in national variety registers and is used within the framework of breeding research programs.

During agronomic research, the variety demonstrated a high degree of crop coverage area in comparison with a number of other varieties. The fertility features of this variety were also studied using the in vitro androgenesis method.
