The variety belongs to long-grain types and is classified as a Japonica rice variety. In the course of genetic studies of European rice varieties, this sample was used for testing markers for rice blast resistance.
Under experimental conditions, the variety demonstrated an intermediate phenotype in reaction to osmotic stress. It also features in scientific works dedicated to the study of grain parboiling processes and endosperm characteristics under various types of milling.
