The variety belongs to the group of waxy varieties, which are characterized by a specific starch composition. The plants are tall, and their growing period lasts from 90 to 105 days. The recommended zone for cultivation is the Steppe.

The grain contains 13.5–14.0% protein and 4.8–5.6 mg/kg of carotenoids. The variety exhibits high drought tolerance and resistance to certain races of smut. The crop is high-yielding and has universal application, including food, feed, technical use, biofuel production, and use for medicinal purposes.
