The variety belongs to the generative type and has a short growing season, which allows it to be used as a stubble crop. The plant is characterized by a short stem length and high productivity, including when grown under irrigation during dry periods.

A distinctive morphological feature of the variety is the red color of the grain. The variety exhibits resistance to abiotic stresses and is often considered one of the main Serbian millet varieties for functional purposes.
