The variety belongs to the group of amylopectin (waxy) millet varieties. Product designation includes the food industry and bioethanol production. Flour from this variety is used as an additive to wheat flour to improve dough elasticity and the volume of bakery products.

The vegetation period averages 77 days. Yield reaches 4.5–5.0 t/ha, with a milling recovery (groats yield) of 76–78%. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, drought, and diseases, in particular to 8 races of smut, as well as high resistance to grain shattering.
