The variety is widely known in breeding practice as a valuable initial material. Other millet varieties, in particular «Харьковское 57», were developed on its basis.

Morphologically, the variety belongs to forms possessing a long panicle, the size of which varies from 29.1 to 36.0 cm. Information on the maturity group, lodging resistance and disease resistance indicators is absent in open sources.
