The variety is a tall plant with a mid-late maturity group. It is characterized by flowers with white petals and a distinct purple spot. The fruit capsules are large and bulb-shaped.

During its active cultivation period from 1944 to 1965, the variety was used primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. The morphine content in the poppy capsules ranged from 0.45% to 0.75%. Seed yield was lower than that of modern food-grade varieties, so today it is considered more as a genetic resource.
