The variety is mid-season and reaches a height of about 1.35 m. The stem is long with a weak waxy bloom; the leaves have double serration. Flowers are white with dark purple spots at the base of the petals. The capsule is wide, ellipsoidal, non-dehiscent, and without a waxy bloom.

The plant possesses high resistance to lodging and uprooting, good resistance to Helminthosporium, and moderate resistance to downy mildew. The morphine content in the capsules is about 0.45%.

The variety is intended for food use due to the high quality of the seeds and low alkaloid content. It is adapted to the climatic conditions of Central Europe and is often used as a standard in variety testing.
