The variety is the result of a breeding program using individual selection and pedigree methods. The plant possesses industrial value due to an increased concentration of morphine in poppy straw, while also being suitable for harvesting food-grade seeds.

Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by white petals with a medium-intensity violet spot and ovoid capsules with a truncate base. The stem has a medium degree of pubescence, and anthocyanin coloration is absent. The stigmatic disc is semi-erect, and the number of carpels is medium.
