The variety is a winter type and is distinguished by a very early flowering period with an average plant height of 1.39 m. It possesses high winter hardiness, maintaining about 85% of plants after winter, and good lodging resistance. The capsules have a round shape with a waxy bloom and are resistant to shattering at maturity.

The seeds of the variety are blue in color, their oil content is 48.9% with a thousand kernel weight of about 0.49 g. The variety belongs to the food type; the morphine content in the capsules is estimated at the 0.34% level. It is most effective when grown in the conditions of sugar beet-growing production areas.
