The variety is classified as mid-season or mid-late, with a period from sowing to harvest of about 120 days. The root vegetable has an elongated, medium-long shape, thickened in the upper part and tapering towards the end, with white or creamy-white skin. The plant forms a rosette of leaves about 30 cm high.
The flesh of the root vegetable is tender, sweet, with a distinct spicy anise aroma, the taste of which improves after exposure to low temperatures. The variety is distinguished by good cold resistance and is suitable for cultivation in temperate climates. It prefers light, deeply tilled soils with a planting pattern of 30–40 cm between rows.
Intended for table use: preparation of soups, purees, stewed dishes, and side dishes. The leaf mass is sometimes used for fodder purposes.
