Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Paulownia elongata and Paulownia fortunei. The plant is characterized by a high growth rate: in studies conducted under conditions in Slovakia, average indices after 7 years were 11.2 m in height with a trunk diameter of 21.5 cm.

The wood of the variety is distinguished by being lightweight and strong, and is resistant to deformation and cracking. Its composition includes approximately 48% cellulose and 27.5% lignin. The frost hardiness of the plant is estimated at down to -20...-25°C. Good resistance to pests and diseases has been recorded, although crown damage is possible when exposed to strong winds.
