Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Paulownia elongata and Paulownia fortunei, specifically bred for high-yield biomass cultivation used for wood chips, pellets, bioethanol, or fodder. The plant is intended for a short rotation cycle consisting of 7–8 cycles of 2 years each.

The variety forms many stems and branches, developing a wide or bush-like shape. During the first growing season, the height increases by 2–3 meters, and the stem diameter by 2–3 cm. Frost resistance is up to –20°C.

The plant is demanding regarding irrigation and nutrients, and requires the complete elimination of competing vegetation. The manufacturer does not recommend pruning shoots or crown shaping.
