This hybrid is sterile, which prevents its uncontrolled spread by seeds. It was selected during breeding work of Chinese origin and has undergone testing in research projects evaluating the potential of plantation forestry.

The variety has a fast growth rate and is adapted to the climatic conditions of southern Europe. It is characterized as a promising material for establishing plantations oriented toward forestry and energy purposes.
