The variety produces conical or cylindrical-conical roots with a smooth surface and cream-white flesh. The root length is 19–22 cm. The plant forms a moderately developed rosette of medium-length, dark green leaves.

The variety is considered hardy and frost-resistant, tolerates temperature drops down to -9 °C, and overwinters well in open field conditions. The plant is light- and moisture-loving, requires loose, fertile, neutral-pH soils, and does not tolerate excessive waterlogging.
