The variety is early-maturing, flowering on the 46–49th day after sowing. The plant is characterized by average height for Phacelia. In comparative trials, the variety demonstrated specific values for nitrogen and fiber content, with a relatively low seed productivity noted.
The variety is traditionally used as an intermediate crop for improving soil structure, protection against erosion, and as a honey plant. It is a "safe" component of crop rotation and winterkills well, forming a protective mulch layer. Previously, the variety was used as a reference variety for the description of characteristics within the framework of UPOV.
