The variety is represented by bush forms 50–60 cm tall and pole forms requiring support, which reach a height of 3–5 meters. Among them, the local ecotype Cocco bianco del Vallo di Diano is encountered. Maturation periods vary depending on the method of crop utilization.

The pods are tender, succulent, and stringless. The seeds are white, large, and oval-rounded in shape. The variety is versatile: suitable for consumption at the green pod stage, for the use of mature grains in soups and stews, as well as for canning and freezing.
