The variety belongs to the flageolet bean group and is used as a shelling crop. The seeds retain their green color during the maturation process and after drying due to the prolonged retention of chlorophyll in the cotyledons. Traditionally in France, harvesting is carried out before the plant fully dries.
The plant has a bush growth habit with a tendency to lodging, which creates a risk of pod contact with the soil. Morphological traits, such as seed size and shape, as well as the number of seeds per pod, may vary.
