The variety is a bush bean that originated historically in the Touraine region. The plant is dwarf, adapts to fresh soils rich in organic matter, and prefers sunny locations.

The pods are green, medium in length, and have a flat, rectangular shape. Each pod contains 3 to 8 rectangular, slightly flattened grains. At the semi-mature stage, the grains are pale green, turning white upon full maturity.

The produce is valued for its uniform, melting texture and mild flavor. The variety is early-maturing and high-yielding, intended for consumption in a semi-mature state, particularly in stews.
