The plant is erect, bush-type, reaching a height of 40–60 cm. Pods are located primarily in the upper part of the stem. The variety possesses resistance to lodging and a number of common diseases, including anthracnose.
Seeds are white, kidney-shaped, and the thousand kernel weight is about 345 g. The average cooking time for the grains is 150 minutes.
