The variety is a vigorous vine, with stems reaching a length of 2.5 to 4 meters. The period from germination to technical maturity is 54 to 75 days. The variety is characterized by disease resistance and the ability to tolerate cool weather conditions.
The flat pods are 18–25 cm long and have an intense golden-yellow color, sometimes with purple marbled spots upon maturation. The produce is valued for the absence of fibers and a tender buttery taste. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, freezing, and canning.
The plant requires sunny areas protected from the wind with fertile soil. For normal development, the installation of trellises or nets is mandatory.
