Variety description

The plant forms a compact bush 30 to 60 cm tall. The pods reach 12–20 cm in length and have no parchment layer or fibers. The fruit coloring is characterized by a purple marbled pattern, which fades or disappears completely during heat treatment.

Seeds are variegated, beige with purple or dark red streaks. The variety is an heirloom and is intended for consuming whole pods fresh, for culinary processing, canning or freezing, and can also be used for seed production at full maturity.
