The plant belongs to tall pole types with very vigorous growth. The pods are characterized as yellow, wide and very long; the seeds have a dark purple color.

The variety is late-flowering, as the onset of flowering depends on the shortening of the daylight period to less than 14 hours. The plant is sensitive to heat, susceptible to bacterial diseases, and requires sturdy supports for cultivation.
