Plants have a determinate growth habit and reach a height of 30–60 cm. The variety is characterized by purple coloration of the stems and lilac flowers; the ripening period is from 51 to 60 days.

Pods are flat, glossy, and dark purple. During culinary processing, the pods change color to bright green (jade). The texture is tender, almost fiberless.

The variety possesses moderate disease resistance and good resistance to lodging. Used fresh, for freezing, and for canning. Applied in breeding research as a source of resistance to Bean common mosaic virus.
