The plant belongs to the climbing Borlotti bean type. Seeds of this ecotype have a rounded shape and a smaller size compared to other varieties of Lamon beans. The coloration is characterized by a cream-white background with pronounced red stripes. A key distinctive feature is the extremely thin and delicate seed coat.
Sowing is traditionally carried out in early May, and harvesting is performed from late August through September. Due to the delicate texture of the skin, this ecotype is most in demand for use in salads and quick-cooking dishes. The variety is the result of centuries of folk selection and adaptation to high-altitude conditions.
