The variety is a landrace from the Trentino region. The plant is indeterminate, reaches a height of 2–3 meters, and requires mandatory installation of supports. The period from sowing to the start of harvesting is 60–70 days, and fruiting continues until the onset of cold weather.

The pods have a characteristic curved crescent or hook shape and are light green in color. The produce does not contain a coarse fibrous layer and possesses a delicate sweetish taste. The variety is adapted to temperate climates and is resistant to a number of legume diseases.
