The plant is a climbing type and requires supports, reaching a height of 200–250 cm. The variety is considered robust and vigorous; due to growth characteristics and good canopy ventilation, the plants are less susceptible to mold compared to bush forms.

The variety belongs to the dry bean category: the pod valves contain a parchment layer, therefore only mature seeds are suitable for consumption. The harvest is collected in late September or early October, after which the pods require drying before threshing the seeds.
