The variety is intended for forage purposes and is characterized by the high nutritional value of its green mass with a low tendency to accumulate nitrates. The seed yield potential ranges from 5 to 10 c/ha.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness and demonstrates a favorable reaction to moisture deficit, showing better tolerance to drought periods compared to a number of other varieties. Under intensive cultivation, there is a risk of crop damage by the timothy fly (Amaurosoma flavipes), which may require the application of insecticides.
