The Prodest variety is a perennial herbaceous plant. Like other varieties of Phleum pratense, it forms dense sods and has a dense cylindrical inflorescence in the form of a complex spike.
The variety is intended for inclusion in grass mixtures used in hay and pasture management. The species Phleum pratense is generally characterized by good tolerance to low temperatures and moist soils, as well as high nutritional value of the first cut.
