The plant forms dense, carpet-like or cushion-shaped mats characteristic of the species Phlox subulata. At maturity, the bush reaches a height of about 10–15 centimeters.

The variety is characterized by spring flowering and the presence of lavender-purple flowers. Patent documentation notes the plant's vigorous growth.

The variety is used in ornamental gardening as a groundcover plant. It is suitable for rock gardens, alpine gardens, planting along garden paths, in the foreground of borders, and for container gardening.
