The plant is a dwarf coniferous shrub with a dense conical crown shape. Growth is slow, at about 2–5 cm per year, and at maturity, the plant reaches a height of 0.5–1.2 meters.
A distinctive feature of the needles is the spring creamy-white or light yellow shade of the new growth, which gradually changes to green-yellow and becomes dark glaucous-green at the end of the season. The variety has winter hardiness down to -30°C.
The plant is used in landscape design for decorating small gardens, alpine gardens, rock gardens, and for container cultivation.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
