Variety description

The plant has a dense, regularly broad-conical crown shape. At the age of 10 years, it reaches a height of about 2 meters and a width of 1.2 meters. The needles are stiff and prickly, 2.5–3 cm long, distributed evenly around the shoot.
Young spring growth has an intense yellow color, which gradually fades over 6–8 weeks, after which the needles acquire a gray-silver hue. The variety prefers sunny locations and is undemanding regarding soil conditions.
The plant is characterized by high resistance to frost, drought, and dry urban air. Young grafted specimens require support to form a correct crown until they reach a certain height.
