The plant belongs to short-stemmed types with white flowers. The variety is characterized as mid-early in terms of flowering and early in terms of maturity. The seeds have a yellow color, medium or large size, and possess good culinary properties, in particular softness when boiled.
In the 1980s, the variety demonstrated high potential for seed yield and crude protein content. Previously, it was actively used in breeding programs aimed at studying resistance to diseases, including Ascochyta blight. At present, the variety has practically gone out of commercial circulation.
