The variety belongs to late-maturing vegetable varieties with a normal leaf type. It is used primarily in industrial production for processing purposes, often acting as a control sample when evaluating yield and product quality.
During studies, the variety was tested for susceptibility to Ascochyta blight caused by the fungus Mycosphaerella pinoides. The variety is included in European lists of pea varieties and is also known under the code designation XP 374.
