The snap pea type variety is characterized by fleshy, succulent pod valves, lacking a parchment layer and fibers, which allows them to be consumed whole. It is also found under the code designation XP226.
The plant is early-maturing and ripens 14–18 days earlier than the Sugar Snap variety. Stem height is 45–55 cm. Pods are approximately 7.5–8 cm in length.
The variety possesses resistance to Bean yellow mosaic virus.
