The plant belongs to the group of tall varieties, reaching a height of 85–110 cm, and has a leaf-type structure. The variety is characterized by pink or purple flowers, and the seeds often have a dark color or a distinct hilum.
Due to its ability to produce a large amount of vegetative mass, the variety is optimally suited for cultivation as an intermediate stubble crop. Compared to medium-tall varieties, the grain yield performance of Fidelia is 20–30% lower.
