The variety belongs to the semi-leafless plant type with brown-colored seeds. It is primarily intended for silage harvesting, with crops ready for harvest 13–14 weeks after sowing.
When grown in mixed crops, for example with spring barley, the variety allows for the production of forage with improved nutritional characteristics. Grain yield of the variety reaches 4.3 t/ha.
